2008 The Beginning

This is where it all started. The 2008 collection represents the earliest days of my art — pieces drawn when the urge to fill a page with patterns was stronger than any formal plan for what they'd become. You can see the experimentation happening in real time: interlocking tiles, flowing organic lines, bold stripe work, scattered dots branching into root-like forms, and pages divided into grids where each cell gets its own personality. There's a raw, exploratory energy to these pieces that I really love looking back on. No rules, no roadmap — just ink, paper, and curiosity about what happens when you keep going.
