2019 Advancement

By 2019 the linework had reached a new level of confidence and elegance. The repeating vine-like forms that run through this collection are fluid and precise in a way that feels almost effortless — each line knowing exactly where it belongs, the whole page working together like a single breathing organism. What's also new here is a more sophisticated use of color as a storytelling tool rather than just a fill: in one piece the same intricate pattern sits quietly in black and white, and in another the edges bloom into a deep burnt orange, framing the white center like something alive pushing in from the outside. The third piece introduces a whole new level of complexity — bold blue shapes floating over an incredibly detailed black and white background packed with flowers, circles, and micro-patterns, each element distinct but part of a larger whole. This is the work of an artist who has fully found their style and is now pushing it somewhere new.
